hrm, why do civilians end up bearing the brute of all political decisions? poor them. innocent people cutting across all countries, races and religions get it. Eygpt is the latest hit. i do wonder why the poor egyptians get hit. Arent they fellow muslims? One of Eygpt's most lucrative industries is tourism. By crashing into 2 hotels and the old market, it not only kills tourists (which i presume the terrorists had aimed to kill) it kills also the locals. In fact, i think the locals have been hit more badly then the foreigners. Come on, dont these militants use brains? the tourists are rich, a bomb not in their homeland causes minimale damage. the locals are already poor that is why their heritage sites have to be prostituted to earn a living. A bombs kills the locals not only physically, these dumb asses also managed to kill the poor local's livehood.

Another recent highlight will be the poor brits. Although i am no fan of britain nor its people, london, i have to admit, is a very multi-cultural society. Although racism is not unknown, all are miuch tolerated. The local British people who have done their part in opposing the iraqi war (no thanks to Blair) now have to endure disgusting bombs. Thanks to local police enforcement, the Brits have to now tolerate their fellow police man having the authority to shoot anyone suspected of carrying bombs. I CAN see alot of logic in that move.. *sacastic. GOD knows if power abusement can occur...

Tell me something,

GOD is omnipotent. All religions require a certain amount of blind faith and conviction. Is there really only ONE way to this fabled kingdom of heaven? God have created a world with different climates, different landscapes, different races, such rich, diverse cultures and histories. Interpretations of god bound to vary due to his intricate and awesome creations. Shouldnt all who worship him with their heart gain access to heaven? Is the domination of one religion so important?

Should one be so adamant against cross cultural relationships (Even friendships...)? Where one from a religion shall not combine with that of another? In this world, it is hard enough to find a person you love and one who can love you back with their heart. Is this barrier necessary?

Is islam such a 'bad' religion? i think not. Depending on the way of intepretation, their ways range from moderation to extreme. As the saying goes, this extreme Islamic interpretation is the equivalent of the Ku Klux Clan for the Christian religion. How many christians are willing to face the fact that their religion is not by any means always forgiving and pure?

Is Islam really linked to terrorism? i think not. On the contaray, i believe this terrorism arised from the way america and britain have been dealing with the oil rich middle eastern countries for the past decads, in the name of improving the middle east.

US is reluctant to remember his ties to Al Qaeda in 1980s, when the Central Intelligence Agency & Saudi Arabia pumped billions of dollars into HARDLINE Isamist groups to assist in battling the Soviet occupation of Afghanistan. Anti Communism ?

Similarly, they were the ones who had equipped Saddam Hussein with weapons to fight Iran.
