"When you have a history of being chronically bullied, three things happen," Jodi Picoult says. "You either deal with it - you're strong enough to deal with it - and you go on to become a very productive member of society; you take it out on yourself, the violence becomes self-directed; or you take your rage out on someone else.
I think these 3 cases can be applied to any aspect of our lives.
In this world, u have to hold on to your beliefs, be mentally strong. Strong enough to fight against your circumstances, environments, societies, for something you want badly. Else, you will be pushed around all your life -meaninglessly- till the end of your days. Since we have limited days on this planet, why not just make the most of it. At least, during our dying days, we would have accumulated lots of memories, having no regrets.
Though easier said than done, at least i am trying.
