geez. i never have thought that i will dislocate my stupid shoulder again. yesterday, we went ice skating. Since i am an intermediate skater, my friend was teaching me tricks on how to do cross overs and hockey brakings. While practising the cross overs, i lost my balance, grabbed his hand for suppot (BIGGEST mistake), my shoulder gave way... =( The worst part was that this shoulder didnt pop back in. SO i was paralyzed... I ended up in a wheelchair, in pain and feeling silly. All my friends stopped skating, for coutesy reasons.. *_* OR they cared. Whatever. I am sure it was a mix. While in a wheelchair, the firstaid guy helped me put my hand into a makeshift cast. Miraculously, while adjusting my arm SLOWLY, (damn pain) it popped in.. *ERMP.
Eitherhow, i still went to a hospital for checkup - Xray. Damn, the canadian emergency section is quite slow.. i guess it is not only the case for singapore huh. WELL, after 4 hrs, it was done.. And i was tired and dead.... AT LEAST, there was a peace of mind that my shoulder is good, just sore. Today, i cant even lift a testtube. i cant even hook up my bra.. *GRRRR. had to fiddle around using left hand.. *_* I hope the strenght comes back soon.
With regards to hospital bills, it was good that Mcgill forced us to have local health insurance. I am sure my bill overshot 500 $ canadian. So i guess the insurance bill is covered already.... HEEEEEEEE. I am referred to an othopedic clinic for followup, so hopefully, there are more permenant solutions. *chirp.
